Deshen Publishing, LLC, is a christian publishing company that serves as the publishing arm of Glory & Grace Ministries by Dr. & Mrs. Patrick Oben. The ministry has one purpose- to build up the Church of God by the teaching of the Word. The Spirit of the Lord is bringing the latter rain of the Word( Isa. 55:10-11) on the earth that will trigger a great end time overflow of God’s glory. The Father has been waiting for over 2000 years for the Church to grow and take a hold of His Word. He has already given the fulness of His Spirit, and there is no other outpouring that will come from heaven. All that is left is for the Rain of the Word to trigger the River of the Spirit. This Rain is already pouring down, for the time is now. Deshen was founded in response to the Spirit’s leadership to align with what He is about to do.
The Word “Deshen” is taken form the Hebrew word translated “fatness” in the verse below
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures (Ps. 36:8 KJV).
It essentially abundant, quality spiritual knowledge through teachings. When the Church receives this quality spiritual knowledge and teachings and grows to maturity, the glory of God will cover the earth!
Deshen, therefore, focuses on the Publication of quality spiritual teachings that will build up the believer to grow to the fullness of the stature of Christ. We are not yet publishing any external work from other Christian authors but we hope to do so in the near future as the Lord leads. When we do, we will certainly focus on high quality, abundant spiritual food that nourishes the believer and the Body. We are not a general Christian publishing company, but selective of only spiritual material that is geared towards the maturing of the Body of Christ.
